Procedure on How to Apply

Thank you for your interest in applying to study at Harris University, where our focus is on changing the world for a better tomorrow. You’ve chosen the right place.

We look at not only an applicant’s academic background, but also their personal profile and work experience, to hand select those who suit our community, striving to achieve a student base with a range of backgrounds and cultures.

It’s a diverse world out there, and so our university will reflect this same diversity.


Applicants from non-American universities, please obtain your academic credential evaluation from NACES (National Association of Credential Evaluation Services). As part of the application process, you will be required to submit your NACES evaluation report.

Harris University has approved the Central Admission of International Students (holders of an EU passport) to both the Bachelor and Master degree programs for the academic year 2024.

For ALL students…

Access to the Bachelor program requires

  1. The Upper Secondary School Leaving Examination, or
  2. The Higher Technical Preparatory Examination, or
  3. The Higher Business Examination, or
  4. The Higher Technical Examination.

Access to the Master program requires

  1. A Bachelor Degree, and
  2. A minimum average grade point of 2.50 (50%).

Applicants with other qualifications may be admitted after an assessment of their qualifications.

The Application Process

Select Your Course

To get started, the first thing that’s needed is to select the course that interests you.

You can use the course finder to sort through all the different opportunities. Not all courses are listed, so if there’s something that interests you and you can’t find it, be sure to drop us a line.

Next to the course listing you will find a button to start a “Common Application”.

Submit the Form

After submitting your application, you will receive an invoice from University Admission with an amount due. Application fees depend on the course you apply for, and will generally range between $195 to $250.

Submit payment of your application fee to cover administrative costs, and have your application manually reviewed.

English Language Test

For students where English is not their primary tongue, University admission requires applicants to hold a minimum IELTS score.

A minimum score of 6.5, with no subscore less than 6.0 is required at the time of applying for admission to Harris University.

IELTS is compiled to give you valuable information about your language skills, and possibilities of improvement in order to progess smoothly along your future studies.

We recommend taking the language test as early as possible.

Supporting Documentation

If you’ve come straight from high school, you’ll need to submit a copy of your high school diploma, and final exam results.

You can attach your diploma and exam results online when submitting your application, or email it at a later date to University Admissions once received.

To confirm your identity, all applicants are required to submit either their passport photo page or national ID card / driver’s license.

Please submit any further documentation that you believe will assist with your application.

Eg: University Degrees / Diplomas / Vocational Certificates / Professional / Work Experiences / Licenses Held (CPA / Real Estate License / Bar Certificate etc.).

Interview Process

Attend an interview, either in person or online.

Letter of Offer

After the successful completion of the previous stages, you will receive an official Letter of Offer from the faculty you applied to.

Things To Know First

The Common Application is required for students applying to any of HU’s degree programs. You’ll be able to choose your preferred mode (full-time or part-time) and number of years to complete the program.

You will need:

  • Contact information for a character reference. The character reference must come from someone whom you have dealt with professionally. Cannot be a family member of friend.
  • Contact information for one teacher (or two, maximum) who will complete the Student Profile form.
  • Non-refundable application fee (generally range between $195 to $250). Students who are unable to pay the application fee can request a fee waiver.

Where the decision date falls on the weekend, the date will be brought forward to the Friday prior.
