I’m from the Caribbean and a graduate of Harris University, USA. I did the MBA in Health Care Administration and then returned 3 years later to complete a Professorship degree in Media Studies.

The graduate courses; although online, were superb which included Introduction to the Allied Health Professions, Managing Strategically, Forecasting for Management, Health Care Human Resources, and Marketing Management among others. The Professors were “a cut above the rest” and I was able to complete it in two years.

I did my PhD in International Marketing elsewhere but missed the approach of HU Professors and returned to do the Professorship degree, which I completed in record time in February 2018. This course was actually the best of them all; relevant to the media industry and very comprehensive. I have had many years in media, so this was the climax which exposed me to many and varied areas. Actually, I never missed the classroom because of webinar sessions which acted as virtual classrooms.

Let me tell you, there is no place like HU; you are the best among them all. It is a pity that I’m at the top of the ladder in education, but if I choose to do another degree, I will certainly return to HU. I have recommended HU to many persons in the Caribbean.

After researching a lot of online courses available, I opted for you largely because of the ease of customisation and studying at one’s own pace to complete the requirements.

I work full-time, and have one son, so flexibility was paramount in my decision. Now am working abroad in the United Kingdom and the studies I undertook have been very relevant to my current job responsibilities.
